About: History

CMC was founded in 1990, in Dallas, Texas to provide construction management services to third party clients. After several years as a successful business, the founder, Subash Gaitonde, joined hands with his long time friend and colleague, Jesse Pruitt, to form a full-service real estate development company. At this time it was appropriate to change the name of the company and thus in 1995 the present day CMC - Commercial Realty Group was formed.

Together, Gaitonde and Pruitt brought over 50 years of experience to the company. With their experience and reputation in the industry, CMC has developed over 10 million square feet of real estate across the United States including North Texas, San Antonio, Houston and Denver.

Although CMC began as a developer of industrial buildings, over the years our expertise has diversified to other types of commercial real estate products including built-to-suit, retail and office. CMC also offers a complete package of brokerage services including Project Leasing and Tenant Representation.

In over 14 years of existence, CMC has grown into a strong and competitive turnkey real estate company with the broad experience in every aspect of the real estate business.
