Subash Gaitonde - Partner/Principal

In the first eight years of his career, Subash Gaitonde worked as an architect--in Florida for five years and then three years in Dallas. Before changing his profession in 1979 to construction management, he earned his Board Certification by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).

In 1979, Mr. Gaitonde joined one of the largest developers in the nation--Vantage Company (later known as Bradford Companies).

During his twelve years at Bradford Companies, he mainly worked in the new project development process, with an emphasis on construction activities. For the last five years prior to his departure, Mr. Gaitonde headed the construction management division, responsible for build-to-suit projects throughout the country. During his tenure at Bradford, he was in charge of large build-to-suit projects for numerous corporate clients including Sherwin-Williams, Pep Boys, Graebel Van Lines, Aetna, Equitable Life, Ezon Products, DSC Communications, and Associates Corporation.

In early 1990, Mr. Gaitonde separated from Bradford Companies to start his own company, CMC-Construction Management Corporation. Later the name of the company was changed to CMC-Commercial Realty Group to operate as a full service real estate developer. During the past ten years, CMC has developed over 30 projects ranging from retail shopping centers to an over 900,000 square foot distribution center for Blockbuster Video.

Mr. Gaitonde received a Masters Degree in Architecture (M. Arch) from the University of Washington, Seattle in 1971.


Jesse Pruitt - Partner/Principal

Jesse K. Pruitt got his start in the real estate industry in 1974 when he joined Vantage Companies as a marketing representative. In 1976, he was promoted to Vice President of Marketing; in 1978 he became Senior Vice President and subsequently Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Dallas division of Vantage Development Company as well as Executive Vice President of Vantage Management Company. In 1978 he was named "Marketing Executive of the Year," and in 1983 he was named Vantage "Manager of the Year." At Vantage he was responsible for the development, management and leasing of more than 30 million square feet of office, warehouse, build-to-suit and design-build facilities in the D/FW Metroplex.

In 1988, Vantage sold its leasing and management operations to Bradford Companies, an owner representative firm providing a comprehensive list of real estate services for owner and tenants. Mr. Pruitt was Executive Vice President/Managing Partner, and under his direction the company completed 1,250 real estate transactions totaling $350 million. He also supervised day-to-day management, leasing, and development operations of more than 20 million square feet of industrial space for institutional owners, pension fund advisors, and industrial owners.

Mr. Pruitt joined Wilcox Realty Group in February 1992 as one of the founders and assumed the role of President of Wilcox Development Services, Inc. He was responsible for both industrial leasing and new development. After joining the company, he negotiated leases for more than three million square feet of warehouse properties. In 1994, Mr. Pruitt joined CMC-Commercial Realty Group as Partner/Principal. Since then, CMC has been responsible for over 5 million square feet of speculative and build-to-suit industrial, office, and tech/flex product.

Graduating from Texas Tech University, Mr. Pruitt received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry in 1969.

Mr. Pruitt is a licensed Texas broker and member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR). He is a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (MAIOP) and the Urban Land Institute, founder of the Real Estate Council and member of the International Real Estate Institute. He is a past president and currently serves on the Executive Board of Texas Tech's Alumni Association, the Texas Tech Red Raider Club, and the selection committee for the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association. Mr. Pruitt is the founder and President of the Las Colinas Polo Club.


Steve Huff - Senior Vice President

Since joining CMC in 1998, Mr. Huff has overseen the leasing and development of most of CMC's commercial work. With project types ranging from 10,000 square foot interior finish-outs to 300,000 square foot shell buildings and build-to-suits, Mr. Huff's real estate leasing expertise has been instrumental in consistently delivering on-schedule and on-budget results. During his tenure at CMC, Mr. Huff has leased and developed over 30 tech/flex buildings, warehouses, light industrial, and office projects totaling more than 3,000,000 sf.

Mr. Steve Huff began his career with Tribble & Stephens in Houston and Dallas. In the first five years of his professional career, he progressed from Field Engineer to Senior Project Manager. During this time, he completed numerous office, warehouse, and retail projects. He later worked for EMJ Corporation where he completed several retail projects including 21 Food Lion grocery stores, a 400,000 square foot power center in Amarillo, Texas, and two Super K-Marts.

In 1993, Mr. Huff brought his career to the next level by joining TGI Friday's Inc. as a project development manager. He directed the design, construction and development of 20 TGI Friday's, Friday's Front Row Grills, and Friday's American Bar restaurants. Mr. Huff managed the design construction, and FF&E coordination of these projects while also assisting with the site selections, due diligence, and lease negotiations. His success developing these projects throughout the United States provided him with unique management skills characteristic of developing on a national basis in many challenging environments.

Mr. Huff's diverse background in real estate brokerage combined with his extensive construction experience provides CMC with a unique professional rare to our industry.

Mr. Huff received his Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from Texas A&M University in December 1981 and is a licensed Real Estate Agent in Texas.

His awards and recognition include the Tau Sigma Delta Architecture Honor Society, EMJ's Most Quality Conscious Project Manager - 1994, TGI Friday's Gold Star and Plaque - two each for meritorious service. He has served as Secretary/Treasurer for the Waters' Ridge Owner's Association and has been an active participant in numerous civic voluntary services.


Salil Gaitonde - Vice President/Project Manager

Salil Gaitonde got his start in the real estate industry a few years ago.   Though relatively new to the industry, Mr. Gaitonde has been very active and instrumental in a number of facets of Real Estate Development at CMC.   This includes pre-development activities, project management, project accounting, marketing, etc.   This experience is possible because of CMC's unique organizational structure and business model.   Salil's projects include University Park Tech Center V, Unversity Park Tech Center VI, The Village at Eldorado and the CIGNA Built-to-Suit project.

Prior to CMC, Salil was in the software industry.   Having worked as an enterprise software developer for firms Tivoli and i2 Technologies, in 2000 Salil decided to venture on his own and help start a software firm.   He and his partners formed the firm ChipData, and attained over $30 million in funding from influential venture firms Sevin Rosen and Interwest.   The company grew from three founders to a team of over 140.   ChipData's customers included large technology firms such as Texas Instruments, IBM, Cadence and Hitachi.

This diverse background experience is invaluable in the day to day dealings at CMC, and will undoubtedly continue to help CMC grow into an important developer in the Dallas area.

Salil is an active member of TREC and NAIOP.   As a youth, he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Computer Science.


Clint McCullah - Vice President /Business Development

Clint joined CMC in 2008 as Vice President focusing on business development. Having grown up in Dallas, Clint possesses a unique understanding of the North Texas Market. His responsibilities include business development, marketing, pre-development services and identifying business platforms to help promote the future growth of CMC.

Prior to joining CMC, Clint worked with HM/MLM Architects and Vice President of the company. He helped grow the company by indentifying and diversifying the company into product type divisions. The company designed several office, industrial and aviation facilities which gave Clint an understanding of both building functions as well as associated city/municipal processes that are involved with every project.

Clint is an active member of TREC. In 1999, Clint completed the Associate Leadership Council program that was created to educate young executives on the diverse metroplex real estate market.

Clint is a graduate of SMU with a BA degree in Finance and later received his Masters in Business Administration in accounting from the University of Dallas.

He and his wife, Jane, have three children – Julia, Drew and Kate.


June Baker - Administrative Assistant

June is behind-the-scenes, keeping CMC running smoothly day-to-day.   In addition, she is the pleasant and cheerful voice that greets you when you call CMC.

June has been involved in the Commercial Real Estate industry for over 20 years.   She started with Vantage Companies in 1984.   This is where she met Subash Gaitonde and Jesse Pruitt.   June joined CMC in 1992 and has been a critical member of the team ever since.

Whether you deal with CMC just once, or on a regular basis, you won't forget her charming personality.

In her spare time, June enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and vacationing with her friends.
