In 2005, CMC was chosen over a number of competitors to build a critical service center for Cigna Corporation. The planned facility is one of four regional centers of its kind around the United States. The facility is 100% built-to-suit with CMC and its consultants working closely with Cigna.
The building is being constructed in Denison, Texas, which is north of the Dallas metropolitan area. The site was chosen because Cigna felt strongly about retaining the current employee base which is currently spread across several older facilities in the area. Cigna has maintained a presence for over 20 years in the area and views the center as critical to their customer service.
The facility features 140,000 square feet on 15 acres in the middle of rolling hills and trees.
